AS and Their Partners

This site focuses on knowledge, resources, and understanding about relationships in which at least one partner has Aspergers Syndrome (AS). We define the words relationship and partner very broadly; a spouse, friend, co-worker, or family member may be a partner and a relationship may include one partner or many.

Regardless of the relationship parameters, Aspergers Syndrome introduces an additional factor into a relationship dynamic, especially for relationships with mixed partners--AS and non-AS (referred to here as NT or neurotypical). Such relationships can be challenging at times, as well as fulfilling. This site offers information, tools, and hope to both AS and NT partners through the content and the affiliation with the AS and Their Partners Forum.
